Artificial intelligence and algorithms play a central role in the depiction of the human body. With “Coded Bodies”, the AFF Galerie presents a broad spectrum of the influences of AI: With “Techno Bodies“, Ivonne Thein reflects on images of the body in our digital culture. Based on X-ray images and digitally generated interpretations of them, Alexander Kadow’s work “The Individual Below” addresses the relationship of the individual to data sets. Lina Scheynius’ photographs of partly naked bodies are repeatedly censored by the algorithm on Instagram, which questions not only the visibility but also the actual freedom of the, often female, body.

Η τεχνητή νοημοσύνη και οι αλγόριθμοι παίζουν κεντρικό ρόλο στην απεικόνιση του ανθρώπινου σώματος. Με την ομαδική έκθεση “Coded Bodies”, η AFF Galerie παρουσιάζει ένα ευρύ φάσμα των επιρροών της τεχνητή νοημοσύνης: Η Ivonne Thein, με το “Techno Bodies”, στοχάζεται σε εικόνες του σώματος στην ψηφιακή μας κουλτούρα. Βασισμένο σε ακτίνες Χ και τις ψηφιακά δημιουργημένες ερμηνείες τους, το έργο του Alexander Kadow “The Individual Below” πραγματεύεται τη σχέση του ατόμου με τα σύνολα δεδομένων. Οι φωτογραφίες της Lina Scheynius με μερικώς γυμνά σώματα λογοκρίνονται επανειλημμένα από τον αλγόριθμο στο Instagram, ο οποίος αμφισβητεί όχι μόνο την ορατότητα, αλλά συχνά, και την πραγματική ελευθερία του γυναικείου σώματος.
