“Retrospect. 15 years of photography” is fundamentally a celebration of the first 15 years of the gallery’s span, which have been an exercise in survival, and a demonstration that, with very little talent and a lot of hard work, it is possible to successfully establish an art gallery specialising in international contemporary photography in a country like Spain. Along the way we have programmed more than 70 exhibitions and have exhibited in more than 50 fairs all over the world including ARCOMadrid, Photo Basel, Unseen, Art Miami, Art Paris, etc.
The invited artists are Roger Ballen, Elina Brotherus, Julia Fullerton-Batten, Nanna Hänninen, Ellen Kooi, Hugh Mangum, and Johann Ryno de Wet.
In this exhibition we have selected some of our most significant represented artists throughout our career and with whom we have shared our vision of photography today: a photography constructed by means of personal looks, narratives, staging, and post-production. As for the pieces chosen, we have given priority to photographs that had not previously been seen in the gallery or that, in our opinion, had not been given the attention they deserved.
We hope we can share with you another 15 years of unforgettable experiences and the best art of the national and international scene.

Η έκθεση “Retrospect. 15 years of photography” είναι ουσιαστικά ένας εορτασμός των πρώτων 15 χρόνων της γκαλερί, που ήταν μια άσκηση επιβίωσης και μια απόδειξη ότι με λίγο ταλέντο και πολλή σκληρή δουλειά, είναι δυνατό να δημιουργηθεί μια επιτυχημένη γκαλερί τέχνης που ειδικεύεται στη διεθνή σύγχρονη φωτογραφία σε μια χώρα όπως η Ισπανία. Στην πορεία έχουμε προγραμματίσει περισσότερες από 70 εκθέσεις και έχουμε εκθέσει σε περισσότερες από 50 εκθέσεις σε όλο τον κόσμο, συμπεριλαμβανομένων των ARCOMadrid, Photo Basel, Unseen, Art Miami, Art Paris, κ.λπ.
Οι προσκεκλημένοι καλλιτέχνες είναι οι Roger Ballen, Elina Brotherus, Julia Fullerton-Batten, Nanna Hänninen, Ellen Kooi, Hugh Mangum και Johann Ryno de Wet.
Σε αυτήν την έκθεση επιλέξαμε μερικούς από τους πιο σημαντικούς εκπροσωπούμενους καλλιτέχνες μας απ’ όλη τη διάρκεια της καριέρας μας και με τους οποίους έχουμε μοιραστεί το όραμά μας για τη φωτογραφία σήμερα: μια φωτογραφία δημιουργημένη με προσωπική ματιά, αφηγήσεις, σκηνικά και μετα-παραγωγή. Όσον αφορά τα έργα που επιλέχθηκαν, έχουμε δώσει προτεραιότητα σε φωτογραφίες που δεν είχαν προηγουμένως παρουσιαστεί στη γκαλερί ή που, κατά τη γνώμη μας, δεν τους είχε δοθεί η προσοχή που τους άξιζε.
Ελπίζουμε ότι μπορούμε να μοιραστούμε μαζί σας άλλα 15 χρόνια αξέχαστων εμπειριών και την καλύτερη τέχνη της εθνικής και διεθνούς σκηνής.
